The Astro Slide 5G is available in a single color variant of Black. Its dimensions are 17.24 (W) x 7.65 (D) x 1.78 (H) cm and weighs around 300 grams. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, the Astro Slide 5G is is built using the trademarked RockUp slider hinge mechanism that enables the phone to have a sliding keypad. The device is aesthetically pleasing to look at and is sure to make everyone nostalgic. It reminds us of the phones of the last decade, which had QWERTY keypads. The Astro Slide 5G has a 6.39 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The device has Corning Gorilla glass to which is scratch resistant. In terms of storage, it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a micro SD card. The phone will have a 4000mAh battery and will support wireless charging too. It has a USB-Type C port and supports wireless charging up to 10W. The smartphone will run on Android 11 and will support Linux OS too. It features a high resolution 48MP rear camera and 13MP front camera. Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the back, stereo speakers, integrated ambient microphone, FM Radio, and GPS. It also has multiple sensors like a light sensor, gyro, magneto-sensor, compass, and accelerometer. It supports WiFi 5 2T2R and Bluetooth v5.1.

The price of the Astro Slide 5G in India is not known. The USA variant will cost approximately $699, however, the price of the phone has not been confirmed.
Availability
No date of release has been announced by the developers, although there are speculations that the smartphone will start shipping in June. The Astro Slide 5G is a very niche smartphone as the popularity of phones with keypads died in the last few years. It is an expensive purchase considering its rumored price.
